Longchang Temple is located within the Baohua Mountain National Forest Park and is one of the park’s attractions. The Baohua Mountain has become well known not just for its natural beauty but also for this famous Buddhist monastery - the Longchang Temple. The temple was established more than 1,500 years ago and is a great Buddhism teaching facility for a Buddhism faction, Lu Zong. The temple is recognized for its high religious position nationally and internationally.

Many famous figures, including the Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, visited here and left behind numerous historical relics.
